History

Our center was previously established under the name of Gazi University Art and Design Research and Application Center (SANTUM) (RG: 23.08.2009/27328), concentrated its activities in the field of design, and as a result, with the regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 24.08.2015 and numbered 29455, GAZİ UNIVERSITY DESIGN APPLICATION AND RESEARCH CENTER. Our center has carried out different activities from past to present. Some of these activities were carried out through protocols, and some were carried out directly through the revolving fund. The goal of our center is to be a leading, exemplary, respected research center that plays an active role in design research and direct design services by constantly updating its infrastructure. The primary strategy of the center is to cooperate with all institutions and organizations that it accepts as stakeholders, to gain access to all data fields needed for design, to conduct research by producing its resources, to publish, and to be the only center that determines national strategies in every field related to design.
